ON HOLD AGAIN. 5/12/08 Large Orange County firm is seeking a Practice Support Manager.
The Practice Support Manager will promote the use of litigation support systems and manage the use of litigation and practice support services on a Firm-wide basis.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Document Clerks
Coordinate with Paralegals regarding the use of technology in their practice areas
Coordinate with Director of Technology regarding litigation software requirements and training needs
Provide training to attorneys, paralegals and document clerks on litigation software and e-discovery
Coordinate the use of technology available from court reporters
Provide assistance to attorneys for litigation and other practice area technology support, software products and in court hardware needs
Coordinate the use and selection of litigation technology vendors
Assist in the management of case documents to eliminate boxes of paper by conversion to electronic media
Coordinate with the Records Department on issues relating to file and document storage
Requirements:
Minimum of three years of experience in the preparation for and successful logistical execution of multiple hearings, trials and/or arbitrations for complex litigation matters
Minimum of Five years of Practice Support experience
Must have at least two year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience; four year degree in a related field preferred
Knowledge of: Trial presentation technology such as Sanction, Trial Director, ELMO, etc.
